Why Brunch is the Most Important Meal of the Day/Week!!

You wake up at 9 am after a late night. It is too late to consider being ready and out the door in time for breakfast and too early to think about lunch...there is only one answer to this issue...BRUNCH!!! What better way to start off a Saturday after a night with friends than a delicious meal with friends that seem like a continuation of the night before. No drinks before 12?? I don't think so...not if that drink consists of OJ and champagne!

A brunch morning should only start off one way. Getting dressed in your cutest "eat on the patio" clothing while listening to your favorite music on your iPod jack. The process of getting ready for brunch can take up to an hour or so. You spend as much time chatting and dancing as you do actually getting dressed. After a while you dramatically look at the clock and realize it is already almost 11 and you haven't even thought about your brunch spot.

Of course there is always the good 'ole fall back on brunch place that you always end up going to, but you have to at least consider the other options. After much debate you almost always end up going to the same place.

There are three very important things to remember when you are talking a good brunch; one, it should NEVER last less than 2 hours; two, there is no such thing as too many mimosas; and three, good conversation with a good friend can not be beat! I have had my very best conversations with my friends over brunch. You never want to rush good conversation. That is why there is a two hour minimum on time spent there. Well, that and bottomless mimosas! :)
